Daniel Huffman founded ONUG Communications in August 1999 and brings more than 18 years of experience in the telecommunications and utility industries. Prior to ONUG, he served as Director of Professional Services for a large southeastern Engineer, Furnish, and Install firm acquired by Alcoa-Fujikura, Ltd., where he founded and led the Professional Services Division from concept through profitability within two years.
Daniel’s expertise spans last-mile networks, data infrastructure, CATV, and broadband technologies, providing clients with strategic insight and practical solutions in a rapidly evolving industry. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University and previously held multiple management and technical leadership roles with BellSouth Telecommunications.

Timothy McLeod serves as Vice President and General Manager at ONUG Communications, where he leads large-scale operations and optimizes fiber optic networks (OSP/ISP) for major telecommunications corporations. An accomplished Executive Operations Leader, Tim specializes in critical infrastructure, network engineering, project management, and risk and recovery through complex business continuity management.
Throughout a distinguished 30-plus-year career, Tim has scaled critical operations across the United States, leading through accountability and driving operational excellence under pressure. He was instrumental in developing highly successful delivery and operational teams during his time at CenturyLink, Lumen, and Lumos / T-Fiber.
Tim has engineered and implemented enterprise-wide business continuity and disaster recovery processes, designed specialized emergency SLAs for E911 Centers, and managed critical responses for large universities and healthcare networks. He firmly believes that the right combination of people, processes, and tools will consistently deliver solid results.
A pedigree of elite executive leadership training from top U.S. corporate pioneers shapes Tim’s strategic vision. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration (Summa Cum Laude) from the University of Mount Olive, plus an A.A.S. in Business Computer Programming.

Nate Hagerty serves as Vice President of Technologies at ONUG Communications, bringing more than two decades of leadership experience across engineering and operations. A Virginia native, Nate holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from Virginia Tech.
Throughout his career, Nate has held key leadership roles with organizations including the Rosewood Group and BW Container Systems, where he developed a strong track record in operational excellence and team leadership. He has overseen the growth and development of more than 12,000 employees, combining technical expertise, business insight, and a passion for developing people to advance ONUG’s vision and long-term goals.
