A Message from our President

Mr. Huffman founded ONUG Communications in August of 1999. Prior to that he served as Director of Professional Services for a large southeastern Engineer, Furnish and Install company which was purchased by Alcoa-Fujikura, Ltd. As founder of the Professional Service Division, Mr. Huffman was responsible for the development of the concept and business plan. The implemented business plan was a successful division start-up showing profit within two years. His 18 years of experience in the telecommunications and utility industry has enabled him to provide many customers with varying assessments of industry trends including: “last mile” networks, data, CATV, and broadband technologies. Danny has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University. Prior to his position of Director of Professional Services, he held various management and technical positions with BellSouth Telecommunications.
